What guarantees protect your building project?
Several guarantees are activated when your home is built.
Polimmo La Maison works within the framework of the CCMI (Contrat de Construction de Maison Individuelle), which allows buyers to benefit from guarantees governed by French regulations.
You will automatically benefit from :
- guaranteed delivery at the agreed price and on time. Even if the builder defaults, your home will be delivered at the price agreed when the contract was signed, and on time.
- guaranteed reimbursement of your deposit 5 %, which allows you to recover the sums paid before the start of the works and in the event of the builder defaulting.

Guarantee of perfect completion
This guarantee covers any defects in conformity or faulty workmanship reported during the first year after acceptance of the work. These defects must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The builder will then have to rectify them. These include, for example, sound insulation problems, but not problems relating to the normal use of the property.
The guarantee of good working order or biennial guarantee
This guarantee protects you for two years following acceptance of the work against damage to equipment that can be separated from the building. Examples include roller shutters, boilers, hobs, etc. As with the completion guarantee, you must notify your builder by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt before repairs can be carried out.
Ten-year guarantee
Under this guarantee, damage that compromises the solidity or safety of the building is covered for 10 years. This covers anything that could compromise the solidity or render the dwelling uninhabitable. There are many types of damage: cracks in the walls, rainwater infiltration, subsidence of the floor, defects in the electrical installation, etc. This cover is compulsory for all property developers and building professionals.
Damage to works insurance
Polimmo La Maison offers you this additional security at a competitive price, thanks to its partnership with an insurer. Damage to works insurance ensures that any damage covered by the ten-year liability insurance is quickly reimbursed and repaired. It also takes over for 9 years once the completion guarantee has expired. It must be taken out before work begins.
Damage to works insurance is not compulsory, but it is strongly recommended, as it provides rapid compensation and, above all, protects you in the event of resale of your property within 10 years of acceptance of the work, because if there is a problem, you will be liable to your buyer.
